One of those layers ended up in Australia, sent by the happy couple to Australian Girl Guides. Why the guides?
They considered the Queen an active member and sent fruit from Australia to be included in the cake. When a cake came back, it was split up between Girl Guides chapters in each state.
Don’t get your hopes up that there are still any left, though. The portions were (understandably) eaten quickly by the guides.
