Tthe Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral and her immediate family have been informed.
Her doctors became “concerned” about the 96-year-old’s health, Buckingham Palace said.
The Prince of Wales has landed at Balmoral in a helicopter, Clarence House confirmed.
The Duke of Cambridge “travels to Balmoral”, Kensington Palace said, and the Duchess of Cornwall and the Princess Royal are already in Scotland.
A statement read: “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision.
“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
